English-speaking Gr.12;5+ years exp.as a qualified/experienced/passionate
Retail/Full Service Butcher.Must have excellent knife skills/meat
cutting techniques/knowledge of meat cuts/trimming/ portion control/quality
control/Food Safety/Hygiene/HACCP/SHE principles.Must take pride
in his workmanship/ have good communication/teamwork skills/be reliable/honest/able
to work under pressure/willing to work public holidays/weekends
when required.Must be able to develop/implement/control systems/SOP's/
perform professional cutting/ trimming/ boning/portioning of meat/prepare/process
a wide variety of fresh cuts/ value-added meats/beef/lamb/pork/chicken/processed
meat products where applicable. Must operate/maintain butchery equipment
safely/efficiently/work effectively within a team/maintain productivity/quality
standards. Must produce retail-ready/meat products/ensure excellent
product presentation/display standards/maintain high standards of
hygiene/food safety/sanitation/excellent customer service/product
advice/monitor stock rotation/minimise waste/assist with stock control/receiving/quality
inspections.Must train/delegate/discipline staff/conduct performance
evaluations/keep to budgets/do RCA of non-conformances/implement
CA/PA/ write management reports/attend regular management meetings.Report
